America… if I don’t share this with you today, I honestly don’t know how I could ever look my own children in the eyes again.

And I mean that with all my heart. Because my kids never understood. To them, President Trump was simply another powerful man living a comfortable life somewhere far away — a man who travels on a beautiful plane and could never truly understand what sacrifice means. And that thought broke my heart.

So today, I sat my children down and told them what I believe they needed to hear. I said — beta, President Trump works incredibly long hours every single day. He continues pushing through briefings, meetings, and responsibilities because he believes America comes first. There are stories that his meals can sit untouched on his desk because he is constantly moving from one responsibility to another.

Just think about that for a moment. A man carrying enormous responsibility can struggle to even stop for a meal because there is always another decision to make, another meeting to attend, another duty waiting for him.

I told my children — your daddy doesn’t sacrifice even half of what this man sacrifices every day for people he may never meet and families he may never know. My kids became completely silent.

Then something happened that I never expected.

My children got down on their knees right there in our living room and prayed for President Trump. Their little hands were folded, their eyes were closed, and they asked God to keep him healthy, give him strength, protect him, and never allow him to feel alone in the fight.

I stood there watching my children pray for a man they believe has given up much of his personal comfort so that their future — and the future of America — can be better. In that moment, I couldn’t even find the words to speak.

Today, I’m asking every American parent to sit down with your children and talk to them about sacrifice, responsibility, service, and putting others before yourself. Our children deserve to understand what dedication can look like.

And for my family, that lesson became connected to one name: Donald Trump.
