Beloved actor Sam Neill, best known worldwide for playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park, has died at the age of 78. Neill passed away in Sydney on July 13, 2026, following a long and celebrated career spanning more than 150 film and television roles. His performances in Jurassic Park, The Piano and numerous other productions made him one of the most recognizable actors of his generation.
